President – Retirement | Private Wealth | Employee Benefits
Rich started Alpha Pension Group in 2003 with a simple mission: to enable hard-working people to retire with dignity. As the CEO, Rich sets Alpha’s strategy and culture; develops new business opportunities and partnerships; collaborates on the Investment Committee; and leads the team in its efforts to deliver superior client service to the businesses and not-for-profit organizations that Alpha serves.
Rich’s favorite part of his job is meeting with companies to see if Alpha can be a resource to their organization and positively impact their employees. Rich is proud to say that Alpha employees are neither investment managers nor benefit brokers; they are consultants with a singular focus: helping companies raise the standards of their retirement plan.
Prior to Alpha, Rich gained extensive retirement plan knowledge and experience at MFS Investment Management. Rich determined that there was a need for independent objective investment fiduciaries to help companies establish cost-effective, competitive retirement plans and educate employees to help them prepare effectively for retirement. This belief ultimately led Rich to the vision and conviction to develop the comprehensive business model of Alpha: a company wholly devoted to time-tested class retirement planning and consulting.
If Rich weren’t working at Alpha, he’d be either a weatherman or maybe even a race car driver. He continues to practice guitar with the hopes that one day Pearl Jam will give him a call; however, most of all, Rich’s favorite job is being a loving father to his three children.
